Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the HCLTech Junior Tester – FPGA role should meet the following requirements:
Full-time B.E/B.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communication, or related disciplines.
Strong understanding of Digital Electronics, Semiconductor Fundamentals, and VLSI concepts.
Experience working in Linux-based environments.
Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash.

Key Responsibilities
Regression Automation
Execute and maintain validation workflows using internal regression frameworks.
Work with Perl, Makefiles, XML, and YAML-based automation environments.
Test Failure Analysis
Investigate and debug test failures.
Re-run test benches and identify root causes of issues.
Defect Management
Create and track defect reports.
Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
FPGA Verification Support
Work with RTL/TCL-based IPs.
Support SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification environments.
Simulation & Validation
Use industry-standard simulation tools including:
Xilinx Vivado
Siemens Questa
Synopsys VCS
AI-Powered Productivity
Utilize modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Codex for debugging, automation, and script optimization.
