Job Role Overview
As a Test Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include creating automated testing solutions for Cisco’s networking products, ensuring product quality, and enhancing the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
You will collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to work on board-level and system-level testing. Additionally, you will develop test automation using Python scripting and data analytics.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Assist with Design for Test (DFT) assessments.
- Develop automated functional test solutions at both board and system levels.
- Deploy test processes at global manufacturing sites.
- Create Python-based test automation scripts.
- Improve test capacity and product quality using data analytics.
- Assist with product failure analysis and fault isolation.
- Perform component- and system-level debugging.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and supply chain teams.
- Support product testing from the prototype build stage through to mass production.
